Building on the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core, the K8 Active delivers significant improvements in performance, durability and security to help businesses conquer their challenges and boost productivity in the field, even in harsh working environments. Designed with the needs of retailers in mind, the K8 Active features a high-resolution camera, near-field communication (NFC) and push-to-talk functionality to enable more efficient barcode-scanning, mobile point-of-sale (mPOS), in-store communication and more. Built to Last with Next-Level Durability
Drops, spills and dust are no match for the K8 Active. The device can now withstand drops of 1.5m on its own and 1.8m in its protective case1, providing employees a greater level of confidence when stocking high shelves or using the device on forklifts. For added protection,the K8 Active also features Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 for upgraded durability and scratch resistance on the display.
The K8 Active is IP68-rated2 for water and dust resistance and is compliant with MIL-STD-810H3 certification – providing protection against altitudes, temperatures, vibration and humidity. Thanks to its adjustable Touch Sensitivity4 settings, the device's touch screen can be used in wet conditions or with gloves on, and it has been tested for use with sanitizers5.
Despite its durability, the K8 Active maintains a slim, lightweight design. At 14.3mm thick and 560g, the device is highly portable and convenient for use on the store floor, in restaurants or on the road.

The K8 Active is loaded with features to boost productivity and empower retail associates to work more efficiently. With the device's programmable physical key F1 / F26, employees can instantly access push-to-talk and communicate with co-workers from across the store at the touch of a button. It features a louder maximum speaker volume7, ensuring clear and accurate communication in loud environments.
The K8 Active can function as an enterprise-grade barcode scanner with its 25-megapixel camera (capture high-definition details of equipment failures during daytime outdoor inspections) + 20MP night vision camera (clearly record the number of goods with the night vision camera during nighttime warehouse inventory) +13MP macro camera (capture product barcodes and part numbers in macro mode for quick identification and data association). It is also equipped with NFC payment reader technology, making it a convenient, portable payment solution for stores and restaurants.
Workers can unleash the full power of the K8 Active with enhanced PC connectivity. The device can effortlessly handle quick content sharing, simultaneous displays and overall continuity of work with a PC through Link to Windows. It can also emulate a desktop interface for jobs that take workers out of the field and into the office.

Designed for All-Day Connectivity
The K8 Active features 4G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, allowing workers to collaborate and communicate throughout the workplace. Having passed the certifications of Verizon and AT&T, the product meets the technical standards and requirements of major U.S. telecom carriers. This facilitates the product's entry into the North American market, helps it successfully enter and be sold in the North American market, and enables it to be included in the carriers' sales channels, including retail stores, online malls and partner networks.
The K8 Active now comes with dual SIMs support, allowing users to have separate phone numbers for work and personal use. This also makes it easy to switch between two SIM cards depending on the network environment, so professionals can access their private network inside the store or office and switch to public networks when outside.
For all-day power, the K8 Active supports POGO charging, which simplifies the charging process by enabling workplaces with POGO docks10 to charge multiple devices at once.
On this basis, the pogo-pin interface equipped on the device breaks through the limitation of single charging function and realizes the dual-mode value of "charging + expansion". On the one hand, when used with a dedicated base (sold separately), it can achieve "charge-on-placement" without frequent plugging and unplugging of the charging cable. The interface has stable contact, avoiding wear problems of traditional charging ports after long-term use. It is especially suitable for batch management scenarios of multiple devices such as warehouses and consultation rooms, easily maintaining the full-power state of the devices. On the other hand, relying on the high-speed data transmission characteristics of the pogo-pin interface, it can quickly connect to external devices such as barcode scanners, industrial printers, and medical data collection terminals without relying on wireless connections. Even in factory workshops with strong signal interference and warehouse areas with dense shelves, real-time data synchronization can be achieved. For example, during retail sorting, after connecting to a scanning device, it can instantly read product barcodes and upload them to the system; in manufacturing scenarios, connecting to a printer can quickly output production work orders, greatly reducing manual operation steps and data delays.
To accommodate different working environments, the K8 Active's 8.0-inch display now features Sunlight readable technology for greater visibility in bright, outdoors conditions. The screen is also now 13% brighter than the previous generation and features a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother viewing of planograms and other detailed documents.
